EVERY SINGLE KEENLER HAD A MELTDOWN OVER 819 LAST NIGHT. I AM NOT SPECIAL. I KNOW THAT. BUT I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS EPISODE!!!!!
We got a reference to the night of rest, Liz calling Ressler "honey" like it was NOTHING, so much Liz tending to Ressler, Liz taping duct tape to his wound as Ressler held her hand to his chest, Liz wanting to turn herself in so that Ressler could go to the hospital and Ressler refusing because he didn't want risk her safety (MARRIED BEHAVIOR), Liz and Ressler lying side by side as their sex scene music played in the background, Liz going to war against a stranger for not taking Ressler to the hospital, Liz holding her hand to Ressler's face, Liz holding Ressler's hand as he lay on the dirty Chinese Restaurant bench, and LIZ SAYING "I LOVE YOU" TO HIS (supposed) UNCONSCIOUS BODY.
In conclusion, Lukas Reiter SERVED, and this week my Keenler breakdown decided not to manifest itself in a blogpost where I just scream. Instead, I decided to write out every Keenler scene in 819....but in screenplay format.
This might just be a ~me~ thing, but there's something so satisfying to me about reading scripts. I think there's something really magical about how words can be transformed into the episodes that we get to see as viewers.
I desperately wish I could see Lukas Reiter's magnificent script that he put forth to NBC, but it's super difficult for me to find scripts, especially ones from episodes that have just aired. SO, what I'm presenting to you guys is all the Keenler scenes in 819 in screenplay format, as interpreted by me watching the scene and then writing out what I think the scene may have been in script-format.
I am NOT an expert screenwriter by any means. I've only taken a beginner class, so I'm definitely still learning the ropes and still trying to figure out what details to include and what not to include, but I hope you all enjoy this nonetheless! If you get bored, that's okay too (I am completely aware that the episode is literally out and y'all can just.....watch the scenes instead of reading them, but I just thought I'd put this out there in case anyone was interested! It's kinda like a different way to relive the scenes that have been destroying us for the past 24 hours).
